BC of The Week; Muammar Gaddafi

Never trust a man who wears sunglasses indoors.

Once upon a time ago Muammar Gaddafi was one of the most dangerous men in the world, responsible for numerous acts of human rights violations and terrorism, he's not a BC of the week for those reasons. Now Gaddafi is kind of like your run of the mill crazy dictator evidenced by his comic book villain-like decision to have an "Amazonian Guard," a group of 500 women who are his only body guards. That's just good old fashioned crazy. But that's not why we're here, he's done plenty of things to earn the title of BC of the week but one thing stands above the rest. Gaddafi may have cost Barack Obama, a chance at the presidency (yes, we are like the Brangelina of the blogoshpere in our shameless campaigning for Obama). Obama and McCain are the main candidates for the election in November and Obama is wildly popular outside of America, especially in Africa. Unfortunately for Obama that means that many Americans, namely West Virginians and Ohioans will think that he's a Muslim and a traitor ("would you vote for the same man as an Islamic socialist dictator like Muammar Gadafi?. Vote McCain, Jindal in '08"). Gaddafi didn't help when he said Obama was lying to boost his campaign when Obama said Jerusalem should remain Israel's undivided capitol. Gaddafi also said that he feared Obama would "act worse than whites" because of an inferiority complex that he is black. Gaddafi then urged Obama to essentially say it loud, he's black and he's proud because all of Africa is behind him. Apparently Colonel Gaddafi doesn't understand how American democracy works because whether or not Africans support him doesn't really matter since they can't vote in the upcoming election. Hell there are parts of this country where even African-Americans can't vote, remember the 2000 elections? Also hurting Obama's campaign is the fact that celebrating his blackness isn't exactly tolerated by some people in this country (West Virginians). So congratulations Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, because you decided to hurt Barack Obama's chances to become the next President of the United State of America, you are the BihariShabab BC of The Week.

Leave Me Alone, I'm Studying.

You have no doubt noticed my absence in recent days. This is because I've gone on hiatus (pronounced; high-ate-us) for a week or so until my final exams are over. You see striving for mediocrity is a difficult task, one that requires that I stop writing mediocre blog posts. Fret not for I shall return and until then BC of the week is a tie between the pedophile from New Jersey (not Raheelium or the countless others but the one that was apprehended by the authorities) and in a surprising TIME magazine type twist, you, the reader, for not commenting on any of these damn posts. Congratulations, you are as much of a BC as a pedophile from New Jersey.

BC of The Week! (Presented by Hajmola "the tasty fun-filled digestive"); Katy Perry

Let me be honest, I couldn't find many deserving BCs this week. I thought I found one in Cedric Benson but it looks like he was a victim of police brutality which I believe he had coming to him after he single-handedly crushed my fantasy football team with his whopping 2 yards per carry average. Then I thought about making Raj the BC of the week but I was told that alienating a fifth of our readership was a bad idea. Finally, today I was driving to work and my senses were assaulted by this abomination of a song by Katy Perry titled; "I Kissed a Girl." Now I have no problems with Katy kissing girls ("to each his own ,"I always say) but I would appreciate it if she didn't also rape my ears. I know that this is probably just an attempt to be all "outrageous" and "zany" and I wouldn't pay any attention to it but it's so terrible and vapid that the only way I can describe it is that it is the musical equivalent of "The Hills." You're gonna watch this video and one of your stupid friends are gonna send you this song because "it's so catchy!" so you know why Katy Perry is the BihariShabab "BC of The Week!" Enjoy, or whatever.

BC of The Week! (presented by Gogo Pan Masala); Mike Myers

Disclaimer: I've been running on Desi Standard Time and all of a sudden the weekend was upon me and I didn't feel like posting. Mike Myers is the BC of the week for the first week of May. While his reign will be shorter he is still as much of a BC as Andrei Kirilenko.

Now you may be questioning my decision to make Mike Myers The BihariShabab "BC of The Week" because he hasn't really done anything newsworthy in quite a while. Well, you obviously weren't with me on Friday night when i went to watch Ironman (solid movie by the way). There were some great trailers before the fillum started including the new Batman movie; The Dark Knight (looks ridiculously good, like a mixture of V for Vendetta and Training Day, doesn't make sense but I would have this movie's child), Hancock (I'm a sucker for the fresh prince), Even The Hulk looks decent. But there was one trailer that looted my sense of decency's izzat and that trailer was Mike Myers' "The Love Guru."

you saw the trailer, you can see why he's the BC of the week. But just in case you decided to skip the trailer (not a bad idea) I'll explain why Mike Myers is the BC of the week. First, Mike Myers seems to be playing a goofy version of Jimi Mistry's character in "The Guru," A movie I didn't really enjoy because it was crap. Ripoff of crappy movie = crappy movie, I know this because I learned it in differential equations. Also I like Romany Malco, Love me some Meagan Goode and pre-knocked up Jessica Alba, even Timberlake is tolerable. But then Myers shows up, makes a stupid joke (he made like 4 midget jokes in one 2 minute trailer), and I want to gouge out my eyeballs. If I'm willing to blind myself and forgo any more scenes involving meagan goode because of you, then you know you're a BC.

You know what? fuck it. I don't need to explain myself to you (keep up this attitude and you'll be BC of the week). Mike Myers sucks, I haven't watched any Austin Powers movies and I haven't enjoyed any thing he's been in with the exception of a few SNL sketches. He's overrated and even if "The Love Guru" wasn't borderline racist he'd still be my BC of the week because I had to think about him for a few minutes in the day. Matter of fact he ruined today because I had to think about him again while writing this post. Congratulations Mike Myers, you suck, you're The BihariShabab "BC of The Week!"

BC of The Week! (presented by Fair and Lovely); Andrei Kirilenko

The Utah Jazz are playing the Rockets tonight as the Rockets try to avoid a 3-0 series deficit. Of course this game would've been much more exciting had Andrei Kirilenko not been a BC and flop last game as Bobby Jackson was hitting the game tying 3 pointer. For those of you who didn't watch this travesty unfold I present to you some horrific video. If you have an extreme dislike for bitch-made BCs I suggest you not watch the video, otherwise here it is:

Shameful right? Unfortunately instead of celebrating Jackson's game tying shot, I should have recognized that Kirilenko was in on the play and as such I should have realized that he would pull a dick move and ruin T-Mac's attempt to get out of the first round (seriously I don't think I can handle another emotional Tracy McGrady press conference, my heart can't take that kind of sadness.) Even worse this wasn't Kirilenko's first flop and it wasn't even his grandest, oh no, we have this gem:

Look at that bitch fly! For these reasons and the fact that he's a Godless commie bastard and has a weird face, Andrei Kirilenko is our "BC of The Week!"
If the Rockets lose again I'm punching a hole through my TV.
