Brown Folks; The New Asians.

Once upon a time ago, South Asians such as myself and Raheelium were subjected to racist taunts related to the stereotype/fact that most/all Indians,Pakistanis,East-Pakistanis, and other brown people from the sub-contintent were only taxi cab drivers or convenience store workers. However, in recent years a new stereotype has emerged due to outsourcing and over-competitive immigrant parents. Now the prevailing stereotype is that we are all doctors, engineers, or IT professionals. In other words, instead of being harassed with taunts like; "why don't you go pump some gas, towelhead" we are now harassed with taunts like; "why don't you go fix my computer, towelhead." Also, all of the non-brown kids in our classrooms and our children's classrooms will want to partner up with brown kids which will give us and our children a false sense of popularity and an inflated ego. I for one embrace the shift in attitude, once an Asian kid would be the studious, hard-working, socially awkward kid in the class. Now, it's our turn! The transformation is partly fruits of our labor, for example, all the brown kids in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and partly the result of 2 Fast 2 Furious, Anime, and Jin turning all of our Asians into spiky haired Civic driving delinquents. So in summation we salute all of the brown people out there working hard and studying, looking upon any liberal arts degree with disdain (no no, stick with that political science, you'll change the world man). Without you....well, I guess nothing would change except that I wouldn't be a stereotype so, uhh thanks?
