Yeah, This Makes Sense.

Nana Patekar is disappointed in you.
The cast of The Simpsons was rewarded for their ability to be dated and unfunny with a new four year contract at a higher salary than ever before even though the show is less popular than ever before. The new contract will get Nancy Cartwright, the lady who voices Bart, nearly US$8 million or 340 million Indian Rupees per season which is apparently how much it costs to read played out catch phrases from a show once so edgy the parents of this blogger wouldn't allow him to watch it. I get paid minimum wage to sell stuff to spoiled pre-teens sporting $300 Coach purses and the latest pedophile bait from the Hot Topic at a mall 20 miles from where I live when gas is well over $4.00 a gallon and my muffler doesn't muffle properly. This coupled with the fact that shows like The Wire and the surprisingly enjoyable Aliens in America struggle to stay on the air makes me a little annoyed that the cast of The Simpsons gets paid enormous sums of money when the show has been on the air for nearly twenty GD years when its relevance ended a good decade ago. Well, keep your hustle up Matt Groening and screw you Rupert Murdoch. I'm gonna go watch The Boondocks.
